ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Margaret Smith sgs is as Sister of the Good Samaritan of the Order of St Benedict. Margaret has long teaching experience in schools and, in more recent years has attained higher degrees in liturgy. Her expertise in pastoral liturgy is widely recognised throughout Australia through her teaching, workshops, seminars and writing. Margaret resides in Melbourne.

Margaret is responsible for the adaptation and rearrangement of the United States publication Children’s Daily Prayer. In the preparation of Children’s Daily Prayer Under the Southern Cross she is responsible for the composition and insertion of material specific to Australia and New Zealand and other original prayers.
